About "CryptoPunks Origins"
"CryptoPunks Origins" chronicles the life and evolution of the CryptoPunks project from it's inception,
to it's steady growth as a nichey, exeprimental cult-project, to it's global explosion as the flagship
project of the new Digital Art movement commonly referred to as "NFTs".
A decidedly and uncompromisingly independent production, "CryptoPunks Origins" is the brain-child of
visionary filmmaker Sherone Rabinovitz who was not only the first to recognize the Punks' inherent
potential, but to also understand the importance of documenting the project's story while
still in it's infancy, years before it burst onto the world's stage and seized the attention of all
the traditional media outlets.
As such, the film's strong indie/guerilla production and aesthetic sensibilities perfectly capture and
mirror the very same experimental thinking and indie/Punk spirit employed by the Punks' creators, to bring
a truly Punk film to the screen!
